Many churches struggle with outreach, especially outreach focused on children who do not know Jesus or anything about the Christian message. A special challenge accompanies this work when ministering to children in under privileged areas. These potentially at-risk children need us to make a long-term commitment to being there because many have been abandoned, rejected or relocated. They need consistency and compassion from people who minister to them. Read more…

The Alpha course running at St George’s came to a close last night after 10 weeks of talks and discussions which allowed people to explore the Christian faith.  Over the past few years I’ve helped at a number of Alpha courses, but this was the first time leading a group.  It was a new challenge!
